Spinners at Silver Falls

I had a wonderful time at Silver Falls Knitting Retreat (a couple of weeks ago) and wanted to share this photo of some happy spinners:

Fall term has begun which means that I won't be able to join you for knitting at Theo's. I'll try to get there on the days that my Chemistry Lab gets out early... until then, HAPPY KNITTING!

Duduza comfort dolls

Hooray -- I'm on the blog, the blog, the blog -- typing on the blog!!!! ;-)

Finally I can post this picture of the Duduza comfort doll family I donated through the Soft Horizons charity Stitch-a-Thon. The dolls will go to African children who have been orphaned by AIDS. Here's a link for more information on the comfort doll project:

Nice job on this blog, Meredith! All the photos are fun to look at, too.
It was good to see everyone at knitting in Eugene.
We just got back to St Paul on Sept 2nd - no more bridges have collapsed and no flooding, so things are pretty calm here.

B & B Day Knitting Retreat 8/07

On this wonderful, sunny Thursday several of us met at Donna's River Walk Inn B & B for a day retreat. We had a delicious potluck lunch and pasted the time relaxing on the upstairs porch knitting and laughing.
